Double whammy advice for today please!
« on: December 04, 2011, 12:28:56 pm »
D had an EW, god knows when but EARLY. She is all up the spout atm, she's now OT but I cant seem to get out if it. She went down for a nap at 11.15 this AM, should I let her sleep 3 hours if she will? I doubt she'd take a CN later, this is the problem!

Then there's B! Total nightmare of late. Behaviour has been shocking and today I had to put him down for a nap. Same time 11.15. HOw long to let him sleep? He's already coming up for 1.5h. He'sa mess, so OT. The nap dropping is not going well and early BT has only helped once this week, all other times its caused an early WU.

I would let D sleep as long as she will and fairly normal bedtime.

B maybe wake by 2pm then bed at 7.30pm/8pm?

Well we decided to wake be just now, so he's had almost 2 hours, a nice long walk after his lunch and a normal BT. We were in such a mudle trying to work out when to wake him!! Ugh, wish I'd read this first!

Will let D sleep as long as she likes, she woke up at 40 mins which is classic OT for her. I got her back down in no time though.

2 OT kids a bloody nightmare!

you poor thing! Both mine are OT most of the time too. Sometimes i think I would be doing a better job if I just did exactly what I wanted when I wanted and dragged them with me...so much for putting their sleep first!

2 hours was a good nap for B Emma.  I have found sometimes in that totally OT mess that a long nap so long as you wake them to preserve a normal ish if not slightly later bedtime helps.

OT kids are NO fun.

And once again I have been reunited with my old friend....end of rope.

Ugh, this is endless, absolutely endless. Kids are a mess and i dont even know where to start sorting them out.

D is refusing 2 naps yet desperatley needs them so now she is EW, thus her nap ands up early then her night ends up early...yadda..yadda...

B is back to his old wreck self. Went to bed and was sleeping for 8 last night and I heard him ing about in his room at 5 this morning. He has been hell all afternoon.

Both going to bed after Abney and Teal! (which I happen to love btw!) Going to try a double BT.

I'd say 3-3.5 if she's normally doing 4.5-5. Probably more like 3.5? Rosa can manage silly  A times on short naps too.

Wouldn't go down.  >:( I ned t go pick up B from nursery in a minute and she *may* fall asleep in the buggy. She might not though...I'll just try to keep her up.

Then the thing is I cant get her down until way after 12 this way. Ugh.

Oh no bummer :( I'd be feeding rice cakes the whole way there and back to keep her awake!! Or maybe even some sandwiches? Get her lunch in early and pop her down as soon as you get home...What time was she up today? xxx
