Dream feed and 'the wind down'
« on: October 29, 2014, 13:11:17 pm »
Hi there,
My LO is 8 months next week, we are doing 3 solid meals together a day where she consumes a little-moderate amounts of food.  Otherwise, we are BF.  I have been wanting to start phasing out the DF, every evening I set my alarm(s) for 10:45pm, and then sleep through to anywhere between 11-12pm. My LO is not OT, but I think I am:) Well last night, I slept through the alarm and didnt wake up till 2:45am, with my breasts extremely full.  My LO ended up sleeping till 6:40, which is totally unheard of for her.......her classic wake up time is 5:10am.
Just wondering, should I still attempt the whole phase out schedule of the DF now that I know she can handle it?  Or should I just cut it out cold turkey and see where that leaves us?
Thanks for your advice!

If she slept through without it I would try cold turkey really! I would give it a few days just to see what happens.
