Double boob feed question
« on: April 10, 2016, 19:31:47 pm »
I have an 18 day old who is beast fed. For the last two days he has wanted more feeds ?growth spurt and often needs to drink from both boobs to be full and settle. Is it normal for him to drink for less time from the second breast?
Also, should I offer the second breast again for the next feed so that he can get the high calorie hind milk?
Thanks

Yes totally normal to have less time. He's just finishing off :) and yes do offer the second side first next time, I think you know what I mean!
