Baby ALWAYS falls asleep on the breast
« on: January 11, 2017, 13:15:07 pm »
Hello I'm new to EASY only just read the book & haven't actually started trying to put it in to practice yet. My baby boy is 10 weeks old and never had a routine. He does go down between 1-2 am (usually) and sleep till 7am ish so I am getting 5/6 hours sleep a night but I'd prefer to have him in a better routine. He's breastfed and feeds on demand, so he doesn't exactly go 3 hours between feeds and I don't know how to change this, he ALWAYS falls asleep on the boob so I'm unsure how to give him awake time after a feed when he's asleep? I don't know how to keep him awake it seems impossible .. i feel like I can't start EASY if I can't follow eat active then sleep? And I need help to cut out the 1am feed. Thank you in advance x

Have a look at this FAQ and see what you think.
Starting EASY - all you need to know and more!

Your LO is still tiny so try not to worry about feeding more frequently than 3hrs. It's very common at this age
