thank you so much for posting this
its funny because my son is 5 months. anytime he does something I always clap and say YAY and get all excited. now, he's only 5 months and i'm sure i'm not doing any damage, but I can really see how continuing to do this all the time can affect him in the future.
i'm going to think twice sometimes. its hard, must admit. as a first time mom, i'm super excited everytime he does something.
and i want to show him my excitement. plus, his smile at me afterwards still melts my heart
but thank you for sharing that article. i read a couple others which are wonderful also. thank you
