Post by: MeganV1 on December 20, 2016, 02:25:14 am
Hi my baby is 10 weeks old. She won't take a bottle at all nd she is wakin every half hour nd a lot of the time she dosnt want fed wen she wakes. Just wants a cuddle I think. I'm not sure if I should leave her to cry and also how do I get her to accept a bottle. Thanks in advance :)!

Sounds like she might be in pain if she's waking that frequebrly. Have you considered reflux (there is a board for it on the forum, not sure how to link on my phone)? Could also be gas pains from oversupply. Sorry this is not a particularly comprehensive answer, just wanted you to know not to leave her to cry and that there is information to help you.

No, definitely don't leave her to cry.  Crying is her way of telling you she needs something. We just need to work out what that something is :)
Here is the link to the Reflux FAQ
Reflux 101 - General reflux information

Has she ever slept well? Is this new?

How does she sleep during the day? Lots of hardly at all?

How often is she feeding in the day? If you have a record of a typical day's feeds and naps that would be useful to see. Any weight issues or is she growing steadily?

At 10 weeks this sounds normal, she needs to know you're still around in her big new world.
If she's gaining weight and stops crying as you cuddle her then i wouldn't worry.
