is a loss in appetite ok?
« on: August 12, 2006, 14:12:16 pm »
my dd is 2 months old.  we went through a time when she was taking 4 ounces at every feeding like a champ.  lately, though, she is only taking 2, 3 at the most.  it is not snacking, because she still goes the whole 3 hours.  it is not because she falls asleep, because she is usually wide awake at feeding time.  i think it is just a decrease in appetite.  does this make sense?  is this ok?  she has been on prevacid for reflux for about a week now...does this have anything to do with it?  i am scared she is not getting enough to eat!

My Dr. told me that their intake would fluctuate from time to time.  I think as long as she's still drinking, there isn't anything to worry about unless it continues.
