Title: Squirmer on my hands - help!!!!
Post by: mamatosophia on June 06, 2006, 00:18:15 am
Hi, I'm new to EASY and this system but I would really really love to implement this with my dd. She is very spirited!!! And, before I started Aussie Swaddling, she would squirm her way out of any sleep she was in and it was highly frustrating.

Now that I'm Aussie Swaddling - she can't hardly move - so she doesn't really wake herself up, but tonight when patting and sh-ing - she woke herself up 3-4 times because of squirming...any advice??? After 45 minutes, I was getting pretty darn tired! :)

Thanks.

How old is your daughter? Have you tried a sleep positioner?

You can buy it at Babies R Us and they are two little foam wedges (covered w/ cloth)  that go on either side of your baby that will keep him/her on her back or side (which ever way you want). You can also get an incline w/ wedges also. They are very helpful (only around 15.00 or $20.00).

Here is a link to several different types. They will help keep your little one from moving all over the crib!

Hope that may help some! You should be able to find them at any baby store!
