Title: Eating less..time to change EASY?
Post by: tjac on September 27, 2006, 22:38:14 pm
My LO is 10.5 weeks old, has been on EASY since birth does pretty well most days.  We just switched to a 3.5 EASY 2 weeks ago and she has adjusted fine.  The past two days however she has started to eat less.  I BF and she has gone from 15 min a feeding to about 7-9.  Is this a sign to move to 3.75 EASY? If so how long should her awake time be?? A typical day

Generally you go from 3.5-4hr EASY. Do you think your LO could make it 4hrs between a feed?

She may have just become a more efficient nurser.

Hi,

At 10.5 weeks, I would not suggest putting your lo onto the 4 hour EASY - She may just like you said have become a more efficient eater.

Signs that you are looking for for you to switch to the 4 hour EASY would be:-

Not hungy after 3.5 hours
Taking shorter naps

I agree.  4 hour EASY is not for a 10.5 week old
