not all babies can do 12 hours overnight, so looking at what you have you are getting 11-11.5hours, which is pretty normal, so I'd start with trying to get bedtime closer to 7pm if you want a wake up after 6am & also push out his nap to never before 11am & gradually move to closer to 12noon.

I think at 15mo you really have to work on more a set nap time & keep it at 1 nap, with my DS1 he was on 2 naps until 20months (pretty much related to my work hours) but he pretty much went to bed 8pm & was awake by 6am most mornings, when we got him to 1 nap, he was sleeping 7.30pm to 6/6.30am.

I think with the 4.30am wake up you just have to find ways to keep him going until at least 10.30am, preferably 11am otherwise you set his body clock on 2 naps & that will give a 10 hour night.

I defo don't want him all my ay half 4 tho that's for sure mornings haven't really been a problem lately he's been sleeping great and till at least 6am he defo sleeps better when his first nap isn't early tho
Thanks girls it's 8.35 now and he still seems fine I'm going to hold that nap of as long as possible x

So I will work towards the one nap but I think for today there is no way I could keep him up till this afternoon so I let him have a 15 min cat nap like you harribo
9.30-9.45 let's hope tha helps him through till after lunch and he has a decent nap then x

I tend to do the nap on the way to the shop or nip for a quick walk round the block. I want to get to 1 nap but DS2 isn't quite ready. He can easily get to 10.30 for a nap on a 6am WU but rarely gets past 1.5 hours so then we're stuck forcing CN at 3pm which he resists x

Well it didn't work I put him down he woke crying after 50 mins Cruz rarely falls asleep on his pram anymore I'll have to try that tho Cruz is the same if he wakes at 6 he can last a good while for his nap I always worry he won't nap long enough tho and then like u said need a second cat nap x

He does still fall asleep on the school run tho if he's been awake really early
In total today he hasn't had much sleep at all hopefully he has a good sleep tonight
I'd love to be on one nap it makes life so much easier doesn't it lol x

Such a tricky age, our school run is a bit later 8.45, so I just nip and do an errand straight after and get a quick car nap on the way back. The days he's in childcare it's a mess though.

Would he cat nap on afternoon school run?

I'd push for the 10.30am long nap and then pop CN in on school run, this was how my DS1 got through 2-1, then you can gradually work nap more towards lunchtime.

DS2 today did WU 6.15 and nap 12-2.35pm at nursery as he's kept busy x
