Just wondering if anyone can help. My daughter is 5.5 months old and on a 4 hour EASY. I introduced rice cereal last week just for practice. I figured she was ready as she was watching me eat, grabbing at my food, can hold her head up, sits with support, ect. Our schedule looks like this:
7:00 wake, I think, she is usually babbling in her room when I wake around 7:20
7:30 E (breast feed)
9:00 S (sometimes only 45, sometimes 1.5 hrs)
11:00 or 11:30, depending on last nap E (breast feed)
12:30 S (this is usually 1.5)
2:30 or 3:00 E (breast feed)
4:00 or 4:30 S (catnap)
around 5:30 E (about 2 tbls. of runny rice cereal)
6:30 Bath, jammies, breast feed and bed by 7 or so. I feed her just before sleep, but she is very awake when I put her in her crib. Is able to fall asleep on her own at bed and naps.
10:15 DF (She doesn't take much here.)
Was sleeping until 4 or 5, waking for good feed, then back to sleep.
Usually if she wakes before, I would let her fuss a little and she would go back off. Last night she woke at 2, 3, and 5.
Could adding the cereal at 5pm be causing her to wake? I read somewhere on here that too many feedings during the day can cause night wakings.
Thanks for any advice!
