Yesterday:
B:Cheerios and 1/4 banana
L: Beans and pitta and humous dipped in pitta
S: declined corn o's
D: Cod and sweetcorn and peas. Semolina sweetened with pear puree. Piece of his b'day cake (-icing) - loved it. I was feeding him with the fork and he just grabbed it and stuffed it all in. LOL.

Today:

B: cheerios, porridge few mouthfulls or each. 3/4 apricot
S: got up  late so none
L: 1/3 Pitta and humous
S: Peas and sweetcorn and raisins
D: Chicken and mushroom risotto with hidden veg (peppers, onions...)

Really feeling like my LO eats so much less than all yours and at playgroup yesterday a girl his size ate a whole sandwich (2 pieces of bread) and a bag of quavers and some banana and DS had only a 1/3 of pitta. I am lucky if he eats 1/2 a slice of bread let alone 2! Maybe he will be like his dad who is slim and 6ft and eats less than me average and 5 foot 3.

Matthew eats much more like Khalam most days!

Today was:

B: few yogurt melts, bite or two of toasted bialy with butter, 2-3 small bites scrambled egg (breakfast almost non-existent lately)
L: fig cereal bar, blueberries, cantaloupe and few bites banana, few bites pizza
S: puffins
D: guacamole (licked off my chips), 1/3 bunless hamburger, few french fries, couple spoonfuls ice cream (at beach today)

Maybe he will be super healthy when he is older and not greedy like me??? LOL.

Today:
B: 1/2 a banana pancake and honey, 1/2 oz banana smoothy (biggest breakfast in ages)
S: 2 thin slices of 1/4'd apple, handful raisins
L: 2 forkfuls baked beans, 1/3 pitta bread spread with humous
S: another 2oz Banana smoothy from breakfast
D: 1 small roast potato, 1 slice chicken breast, 4 slices carrot, dessert spn peas/sweetcorn, small piece stuffing.
S: few spoons custard.

Karen what is a bialy and also puffins? How is a bunless hamburger different from a beef burger? Or is it not?

Oh, also on the sweetcorn issue - I think yesterday and today was possibly DS's first time with sweetcorn, and this may be TMI, but, well, it doesnt seem to digest well, and....well....came out as it went in, if you know what I mean!!   :-X

We either microwave (small amt) or steam sweetcorn depending on how much i am cooking.
I can't believe how much your LO's eat. Did they always eat that much even when they were 12mo? I am getting jealous.

we tend to see sweetcorn in the potty too if DS eats alot or doesn't chew it well.

DS's apetite literally arrived at about 12mos or so, before that it was a struggle to get him to eat much, it's amazing how he's changed in the past few weeks.

DS still has 3 bottles a day, 9oz, 5oz and 9oz, but I'm gradually cutting the middle one out. Since he's been eating more he doesnt always want all of his bottles.

DS still has three bottles/day too (usually 4-5 ounces, 6 ounces, 6 ounces). He's not a HUGE eater portion wise but I'm satisfied with it (other than breakfast).

A bunless burger just meant a regular hamburger without any bread - sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the sweetcorn discussion!

DS is STILL fighting this virus - thought it was better but then he was up a lot overnight with a 101.2 fever and quite a mess today. Back to the doc tomorrow for us. Today was:

B: small amount applesauce, few dry puffins (a yummy healthy cereal BTW)
L: vegetable lasagna
D: yogurt, one small piece raisin toast with bit of cream cheese

DS has always been a small solid-food eater, too.  He's started getting better in just the past couple of months.  He does 3 bottles a day: 9 oz, between 5-7 oz (more if I know lunch will be kinda scant), and then 9 oz.  I notice that he eats less when it's finger-food versus spoon-fed, but he eats until he doesn't want any more; I'm good with that :)

B: waffle (LOVED that!!)
L: not a huge lunch, mainly little snack foods (we were at church, so hard to really do a big lunch)
D: grilled cheese sandwich, a couple of bites of blueberry and strawberry

Question for you ladies: do you give your LOs syrup?  I debated with myself to give DS any this morning and ended up only giving him a taste.  Am just trying to think of healthy, age-appropriate waffle/pancake toppings for him (besides something like applesauce).

Sara, when I give DS pancake or whatever I also give him yogurt or applesauce to dip the chunks in. I don't want to give him syrup just yet! Before that, I would just spread it on or dip it myself before feeding the pieces to him. The last time we had french toast I also had yogurt for dipping rather than syrup, and it was very good!

Today Nathan had...

B: one of DH's homemade, whole wheat bisuits with jam
S: an egg, toast, sliced grapes (late breakfast for DH and I)
L: cheddar cheese chunks, more bisuit, more grapes, cucumber chunks
D: the new 'smart' Kraft Dinner (DH's Father's Day dinner request) which is made with cauliflower in it; peas, and green beans
S: a berry salad: fresh blueberries, strawberry chunks, and rasberries with yogurt for dipping
