« on: July 14, 2012, 15:16:11 pm »
Dd is on a 4 hr easy (sometimes 2.5 hr A times). She can't last that long btwn feeding. It is also hot here but we are indoors mostly. How do I make this work without nursing b4 nap?

I tended to do a top up feed about 15 minutes before a nap and then winddown etc but it was the only way i could work it to not get short naps due to be hungry.

I did the same but for thirst in the hot season, rather than hunger

Heather- I have a similar issue.  We are thirsty people- DS1 nursed like mad, and now drinks insane amounts.  DH and I are the same, so I imagine DS2 is also.  Probably not what you want to hear, lol, but we do a full feed when he wakes up and a shorter 'drink' before nap or whenever he starts pawing at my shirt :)  I just try to keep the full feeds 3.5-4 hr apart.
