Okay so I bought one of these but what kind of foods do you suggest?  What do your LO's like the best?

So far I have tried only fresh (soft and hard) fruit.
My DS likes apples, pears and peaches.  He wasn't too keen on cantaloupe.

Are you talking about the Baby Safe FeederBag or the like? We use lots of fruits & veggies-pears, bananas  and baby carrots were a favourite. (I say were b/c lately she wants fingerfoods all of the time) Also-Small ice cubes or frozen fruits were great during teething,

BTW-The bags are messy and at times hard to clean....another BW suggested oxy clean and its worked like a charm.

Have Fun!

Years ago when I first saw those I was soooo excited. Then came the mess and the clean up...like mentioned above. I didnt use ours long and would never suggest them. At least not at the price I paid....$25
That was when they first came out I have now seen them for about $7....perhaps would pay that.

Loved ours.
We put everything in it you could imagine (spoon refusal). All purees and even yoghurt!
cleaning was a pain - especially banana  - but it was worth it.

I use the safe feeder with food cubes of anything....when she seems to be teething.   Sometimes she eats a chunk of cooked sw potato in it!

I found using an old toothbrush works great for cleaning it!  For some reason, i find pears get really stuck in the mesh!  So, a quick soak in really hot water...then the toothbrush!

good luck!

Our DS LOVES his... it's the only thing that keeps him quiet when he's teething & fussy. We got plenty of replacement bags, for when one gets so messy we don't feel like bothering with cleanup.  ;)

So far, he's had fresh or frozen (peeled) chunks of mango, apple, peach, banana, nectarine. We just keep a bag in the freezer, and toss in a few chunks of whatever I'm making into baby food, before I puree it. (I buy some of our fruits frozen, as our DS is a handful and fresh fruit frequently went bad before I could find time to prepare it.) Pretty much anything you're already feeding will work.
