how many night feedings for 6 month old breastfed baby?
« on: February 22, 2012, 20:00:33 pm »
My daughter is 6 months old, how often should she be waking to feed at night?
I want to know when I should shh her to sleep and when I should feed her..
She is breastfed, started solids at 5 months but was only having 1 solid feed a day I will be starting 2 times a day this week.
Thank you so much!
Sarah

Hi there, is your DD on a 4 hr Easy in the day? So feeding every 4 hrs? Does she have a DF and at what time? All of this depends on how your NFs will go really.

If she feeds every 4 hrs in the day and has a DF then you can easily expect her to go at least 4 hrs between feeds in the night too. So that would mean that your nights would go something like...

BT 7.00pm
DF 11.00pm
NF (if she wakes) 3.00am or later
E and start day 7.00am

Does that help?
