very early morning wakenes
« on: January 07, 2007, 11:59:55 am »
Hiya,
we're in a 4 hours EASY which is just perfect for my allmost 6 months lo.
this how our routine looks like:

E 7
E 8 - 2 tbs of rice cereal with 20cc pumped BM
S 9-10:30
E 11
E 12 - 2 tbs of rice cereal with 20cc pumped BM
S 1-2:30
E 3
S 5-5:30 or 5:40
E 7
S 7:15
E 11 (dreamfeed)

we just started with solid food (from last Monday) and since than she is waking every morning at 5:30-5:40am!
she usually wakes at 6:50-7 (sometimes even 7:20).
what can I do?
I read at the book to wake the lo 1 hour before (so it'll be 4:30 for me!) and give them a dummy and it should help, so try it or any other advise before I wake up in 4:30...?

Thank you!

Are you finding that since starting the solids, that your lo is a bit consitpated?

We found that when our DS was constipated he tended to wake earlier in the mornings as he was uncomfortable.

Is your lo constipated?

Perhaps try another food instead of the rice cereal, it could not be agreeing with her tummy.  Just remember that if you do introduce a new food, to do it early in the the day to watch out for any reactions, and to not offer more than one new food for about 3 days.
