Hi! My twin 9 month old girls have just started Mother's Morning Out for 4 mornings a week where I work. And it is throwing a huge wrench in our morning nap and milk intake routine. Here is our routine before MMO:
7:00/7:30- BF
8:30 Breakfast (Oatmeal and Fruit- about 4 TBS each)
9:30 Nap
11:00 BF
12:30 Lunch (Veg, Fruit and Yogurt- about 6 TBS each)
2:00 Nap
4:00 BF
5:30 Dinner (Meat, Veg, Yogurt- about 6-7 TBS each)
7:30 BF
(still doing DF because they wake up otherwise. With DF they sleep till 7:00, sometimes 8:00!)
Now with MMO, I don't know what to do- they will be there from 9:30-12:30, right in the middle of their good morning nap. And they simply refuse to take the bottle. (Yes, they have taken bottles and would take one up until last week). They just seem to not want milk at the 11 feed. Today, I had the caregivers give them yogurt instead and they were happy as could be until lunch when we got home. But is it too early to drop this BF/Bottle feed? I read in another post about combining the 11/4 feeds, would that be a good idea at this point?
Any ideas on how to rearrange our schedule and provide a good snack or milk feed while at MMO? They are sleeping a bit at MMO, but I know with time it will get better as they get used to everything, but not the good nap like we used to.
Hope this all makes sense.
Thanks- Press
