His sleep has been so terrible I'm losing my mind! The night before last he woke at 4am and didn't settle back down until 9am! Then he slept from 9-11am and then his afternoon nap from 1-3:15. He took a very short cat nap at 5:45-6:15. He went down for the night at 8:30 but woke at 11 to eat and 1:30 for?????? Could not be resettled until 5am but woke at 6!! Then would not go back down until he took a 30min nap at 10-10:30! I don't know what do to! He's a mess, I'm a mess, we're all such a mess!

Great news on getting the PPI hun, hope you see a difference soon.

I your DS still ill? Unfortunately horrible nights are part of the course when illness hits. My DD has a virus/cold now and we had the night from hell last night, so I feel your pain. Have you tried pain meds before bed to see if that eases things a little?

Hello
So this is what is going on now. The Prevacid has settled down the reflux greatly, his wheezing and bronchiolitis is mostly all better, but he just developed 2 ear infections. One thing after another I supposed. I am starting to get him on a good routine, not that he is on board with it, but I have some issues that I need some help ironing out.
Here is his EASY:
8:30 Wake
9 E solids
9-10 A
10 bottle
10-10:30 wind down
10:30-11:15 S nap ALWAYS 45 MIN How do I stop this?!?!
11:15-1 A
1 E Bottle
1:30-3:30 S He ALWAYS wakes at 45 min mark and then needs to be coaxed back to sleep, again how to I remedy this?
3:30-5 A
5 E Solids
5:30 S catnap until
6-7 A
7 E bottle
7:30 S

From the time we put him down to sleep at night until we finally get up for good in the morning, we are CONSTANTLY putting him back to sleep. Not to say that he doesnt have some good stretches here and there but he ALWAYS wakes at 4:30 and wakes up crying every morning at 7am.
We feed him at 11pm and 5am at night so he is not hungry at 7am.
What do you think?
Mess right?

Your not going to want to hear this hun but while he still has those ear infections he wont settle well and will likely NW/WU from naps early etc. Once he is well, if he is still waking at 45mins then you could try W2S/HTTJ or adjusting his A times a touch. SOme LOs just are short nappers (mine was till 6.5 months) and you can either go with it and offer more, or use APOP/W2S/HTTJ etc to try to extend. :-*

When you say you feed him at 11 is that a DF or does he wake for it.

HUGS - Its not a mess sweetie, hes just going through a tough time. FWIW we had a mess of an EASY between 4-6 months too. It does settle down x
