Wake to Sleep for older babys nightwaking
« on: April 18, 2007, 20:10:18 pm »
I think i want to try the wake to sleep technique for my 8mo 3am wakeup. Can anyone explain how to do this and if they have had success using this technique with an older baby. At this 3am wakeup i usually nurse back to sleep...should i phase out that nursing gradually & then try w2s or just go straight to w2s? Thanks!

Here is a link to instructions and info for wake to sleep-

https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=64168.0

Most important thing to remember is to not actually wake LO but make him stir and change sleep cycles.

I would wean that feed by offering less minutes every few days until you're at zero, and then to wake to sleep if necessary.
