Title: tods keeping each other a wake
Post by: cliacorbhin on August 28, 2005, 12:41:38 pm
I have two kids corbhin is two clia is one for the last few mths they have being keeping each other up at night, talking, playing & carrying on. Corbhin also comes out of the rm which frustrates clia because she can't climb out of her cot yet. I put corb. back with no words said then I have to calm a very upset clia, this can go on for up to two hrs, i'm really tired & i'm finding difficult to stay calm these days. Any words of encouragement and help would be gratefully received.

Does Corbin understand punishment/discipline yet?  If so, you could make this one of those issues.  Such as "Corbin, you must stay in your bed or..."   If you feel uncomfortable making this a discipline issue, could you put Clia in a pack n play in your room for a night and explain to Corbin why sister can't sleep in there b/c he is not helping her to get her sleep?  But definitely be consistent no matter what.
I have a feeling that just a few more nights of mommy making them go back to sleep and being very stern with them and they will stop.
HUGS!
And I hope you get more suggestions!
