my lo had a groove station and loved it :).they are very bulcky so you do need space.the best thing was after she outgrew it we sold it on ebay for 20 pounds less than we paid for it,so we were over the moon ;D ;D...jenny

tbh my DD never cared for her Baby Einstein exersaucer. :-[ she did not like being contained in it for some reason and seemed to feel quite claustrophobic when I used to put her in the seat...and would just cry horribly and non-stop. Now that she is 16 months old and very mobile, she will get a kick out of getting in there every once in a while (and ask for it) but it is only for a short period and don't you dare leave her in there alone! Oh ...and for some reason all the lights, animals sounds and bright colors seemed to not only scare her (partic. the sounds) but leave her completely over-stimulated. LOL she looked like a rabid, wild animal foaming at the mouth afterwards (a bit of an exaggeration but she was wild looking fer sure). So really we used the exersaucer more as a pseudo gate to block her from getting to other side of the family room (the other half of the room is her play area).
I would see if a friend or someone you know has an exersaucer they can loan you... and try it a few times and for a period of time (and not just one time as we put DD in an exersaucer at the toy store and she seemed to love it initially)....observe and see if your LO enjoys it. HTH -Good Luck!

Honestly; the best purchase I have ever made! My little one adored it andIfound italifesaver; she would happily stay i there for hours if I had let her! I had two (one at home and one at my mum's) the baby einstein and the Graco. They were both fantastic.

We have just got a jumparoo, my LO loves it, he gets very excited and I like that he can turn around in it as well as bounce. It was expensive but luckily Grandma is very generous!

We just bought the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo and it is brilliant. She absolutely loves being in it...it is similar to the jolly jumper but has an activity centre with a chair that does a 360 degree turn....go on to the fisher price website and have a look....
She loves jumping up and down in it and you can also use it like a swing to move them back and forth, and around and around :)

we have the 3 in 1 exersaucer and it is amazing....after they outgrow it you tke it apart and it becomes a little table. i loved it, so did ds.

We had both my dds in the exersaucer (the Graco/Baby Einstein one) from about 3 months, which is earlier than the directions recommend, but since they could both hold their heads up at that point, we just put some blankets around them so they wouldn't wobble too much. They both LOVED it and it was a great place to be able to put them down and know they were safe (esp with dd2, kept her out of reach of dd1). We have a doorway jumper too, which my first wasn't too interested in, but my second loves. :)

We got the evenflo megasaucer several weeks ago. It folds down so you can put it off to the side which is good since we don't have much extra space. My daughter just turned 5 months and she's just starting to enjoy it now that she can reach and focus on the toys a bit better.

My DD LOVED her exersaucer, we also started her in it much earlier than the instructions suggested. I have so many pictures of her in it people wondered if we ever did anything else with her!!
Good luck with your decision, Danielle
