Title: Oranges?

Does anyone know if its ok to feed the oranges in a can at this age or should you wait till after a year? Thanks

Oranges and other citrus fruits are usually not recommended until 1 yr of age. One reason is that citrus is a common allergen, and another is that its acidity can be irritating to less mature digestive systems. Hope that answers your question!

Aiden didn't digest orange juice well until after he was 2 years old.  They'd give him diarreah (okay, can anyone really spell that correctly???) and horrible diaper rash.   :(

I started cooking with orange juice at six months and in England the advice is six months if there is no history of allergy in the family. HAve not given it to her simply because I do not think she will like the souness of it but this is completely baseless. Really should give it a try as she tolerates the juice very well and it helps with iron absorbtion.
