Title: How much milk should my 18 MO be drinking?
Post by: TobiasMum on March 31, 2011, 11:54:21 am
My DS is 18 months in April and he still has 7 oz of milk at wake up and before going to bed. Are we on track? He still has it from a bottle. I can't remember at what point I moved my 3 year old onto cups/beaker for milk and when I reduced his intake.
Any advice?
Thanks
R

I think I read somewhere 16-24 oz a day.  Depends on the size of your baby.

My DD at 27mts does about 7-10 a day but gets nutrients from cheese/yogurt etc.
My Lo still does 20-30 oz a day.

I think at that age I was down to morning and evening bottle only.  About 7oz each bottle so it sounds like you are on the right track!!!

16-24 oz/day.  But as long as they are growing and getting calcium the exact amount is kinda arbitrary
