Help with SR and 18 month routine
« on: March 23, 2014, 07:27:49 am »
My lo is 18months old on the 1st and I think we have hit th dreaded SR. We have gone from 2 hour naps for under 1 hour, ew, taking ages to fall asleep at night and I think now in a massive ot loop! Ideally I would like wu anytime after 6.30am, can you share your routines with me and what I need to aim for in terms of nap and bedtimes! Also when I should do ebt??

Is it best to go back to basics with a 12 nap and see if the longer naps return to try and get back to normal and over the ot and then hopefully I can start pushing the nap slightly

The advice is usually to stay as consistent as possible during regressions like this......I would set the nap at 12pm for now and see how you go.

At 18 months we were doing
A - 6-6.30am
Nap - 11.30-1pm ish
BT - 6pm

DD did not settle into a good 2 hour nap until more like 20 months x

Were in the sr too...it's the worst!

What is her day looking like ATM? Consistency is your best bet, but it's super hard as they get so OT and fight sleep like crazy :(
