Crying in carseat
« on: June 21, 2008, 01:09:02 am »

Not sure if this is the right place to post.  I'm at a loss as to what to do with my 9.5 month old crying in the carseat.  He cries from the moment I put him in til the moment I talk him out.  Makes for miserable car rides.  I'm hoping it is just a phase and he will eventually out grow it.

A lot of kids hate carseats, both mine did as newborns then outgrow that phase so hopefully your will too. A few thoughts, have you tried distracting him...music on window down a toy in hand, a paci? Have you tried singing? Seemed to work with mine, sing LOUD! Whats your carseat like? Could he be uncomfortable?
