I thought this issue is separate enough from my BBB transition thread to warrant a new one.
H is almost 18 months. He just moved from a crib to a twin bed a couple weeks ago. In that time, he has also attached to a lovey for the first time... But it's his sippy cup of milk!
I think it's bad for his teeth to go to bed with milk. Also, he wants milk when he's sleepy even if he's had his milk allotment for the day already, so it's a diet problem. If I put water in the cup, he sobs and refuses to go to sleep.
Thoughts? I'm trying to attach him to a bear with limited success. Should I just stop letting him take a cup to bed at all?
He has a cold now so we're doing whatever it takes to get sleep, but after he's well I could work on this. Kind of. Baby is due on the 6th, and then my mom will mostly be taking care of Henry for a while as I focus on new baby.
