How do I keep the 3-hour interval between feedings?
« on: August 02, 2013, 17:50:27 pm »
Hi everyone,

My 7 week-old daughter tends to feed (BF) for 25 minutes, has 20 minutes of activity time before starting to yawn and normally sleeps for 1 and a half hours.

This makes a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes.

What should I do when she wakes up before breastfeeding again, in order to keep the 3-hour interval between feedings?

You could do more of an AEASY routine.  She's pretty young still so I wouldn't worry about it too much, but her a times will increase every week making it easier.

Have a look here for average A times: Average A times- BOOKMARK ME!!

You may want to gently nudge her to stay awake a few mins longer (keep it v low key) and see if you can get a longer nap.  Otherwise what Violet's mom suggested is perfect :)
