LO not getting enough sleep
« on: April 21, 2006, 06:30:23 am »
MY 6 month old has been sleeping reall ybadly the last couple of weeks and dont really know where to start...his naps were only 30mins so I extended awake time to 3hrs and now he takes 2 1.5hr sleeps and sometimes a catnap (still not enough i think). He is getting better at sleeping independently but will take him up to an hr and half to get to sleep so often he nods off at 9pm!! He is waking stupidly early at 5am! I have no idea why but realise he isnt getting enough sleep altogether, any tips??? I thought I would try putting him down earlier, what do u think?

https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=46.0  A quick reference for you.  Sounds like trying an earlier bedtime is a good idea.  Seems to me that things go a bit wacky at 6 months, so hang in there.
