has anyone used pregestimil?

Hi my DS is cow milk intolerant and has been on pregestimil since he was 4 months old when i stopped breastfeeding him. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it he was 8lb at birth full term and gained 1lb a week whilst i was breastfeeding him at 39 weeks he weighed 26lb 11oz (12.12kg) and is now off the centile chart. I was just wondering if anybody else had experienced good weight gain with the pregestimil..or whether he is just a big lad. thanks

I'm not sure, but when my son was put on Neocate he seemed to grow a lot in length and in weight.  I think it that there is so much nutrition in the formula it just is great that way.  I definitely noticed a difference between that and when he was on regular formula.  I wouldn't be too concerned, unless your doctor is?  Gaining weight at this age is usually a good sign.
