hi there
my health visitor says tap water depends on where you live and the quality of the water. We live in the West Midlands so she says I should keep boiling it until lo is 12 months.
At 12 months I think they should be having 1pt of milk a day

Mine is 18 months old and I have been giving her mineral water since she was around 12 months old. Only Evian until recently though because that has the lowest sodium levels. As for milk; I think it is 12 ounces including milk products.

Here is a link for you to look at on the amounts of milk you can expect your lo to be taking at 12 months.

https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=67569.msg512958#msg512958

It is still recommended that they have 21oz in a day, but alot of this can now include cheeses, yogurts etc.

Most lo's at a year old are on 2 milk feeds a day - 1 for breakfast and 1 before bed.

I still give my 22 months old 18 ounces of milk, 9 in the morning and 9 at bedtime and she sometimes asks for it with her meal, which I give her too, it doesn't affect her eating and it's better than the juice that she has taken a liking too since I have been childminding and seen the others have it.  She still has water and I boiled it until 12 months.  I now give her tap water or bottled water, I don't think there is a lot in it, our water here is not particularly hard.
