Title: EASY as your baby gets older
Post by: shem2005 on October 23, 2005, 05:20:49 am
My DD is 4 1/2 months and I am wondering how EASY works as they get older. In the BW book it says that you have 2 hours activity and then roughly 2 hours sleep. What happens when your baby gets older and can manage 2 1/2 hours of activity and then also a 2 hour nap? Do you feed every 4 1/2 hours?

Or will that length of activity time be when they are on virtually three meals a day similar to us? Surely they can't always stay on 4 hour EASY?

Every baby is different and if it works, go with it  :D  If it works to go to 4-1/2 hrs when he naps longer, that's perfectly ok.  Consider yourself blessed to have such nice naps :D

For us, Zoe (10 months) can go 3-4 hrs in between activity now.  But we are pretty much on a 3 meal schedule like us. Though, I think on average that is a little earlier than the "norm".  :D

Wake at 7
Breakfast at 8
Nap usually 45 minutes (9:15-9:45)
Lunch at 11-11:30
Nap 1-3/3:30
Snack
Dinner at 5:30
Bottle at 6:30
Bed at 7
