Omg Kellie how awful.  Reinforces why I still use reins for my ds if we go into town or walking along roads especially as now I'm pushing dd in her buggy.  I know people that have said they disagree with them (in England) but that doesn't bother me one bit, peace of mind is far more important to me.  I let him run around the park/field/river walk without them on but feel more secure if he's wearing them as some of the roads around here are so busy.
Jenn - totally agree there, lol!

Ds nearly fell in the river yesterday - he was leaning over trying to fill his bucket up ::)

Guess what saved him? :D

Oh no Caroline that must have been a heart in mouth moment, thank goodness you had him on the reins!  Luckily ds can't get near the actual river where we walk otherwise I would definately have him on the reins.  Bet it gave him a fright though.
