Dd decided organic only!!!
« on: August 14, 2006, 10:43:02 am »
I've been feeding dd pureed, bottled food since she was about 5.5 months old. She is now on the 2nd stage foods. Recently she was refusing all of her foods, except her yoghurt, and when she started teething and refused the bottle as well, i was concerned. Something told me to try organic food (also bottled) and well, i can only tell you that she polishes off a medium sized bottle in a matter of minutes! She loves it. I don't know why she has suddenly decided that she will only eat organic food, but it's ok by me because i know it's good for her.

It may just be a fase she is going through but if you are happy her having the organic then that is fine.

that would be hilarious if it wasn't true here too!  :o

I cook all her food from organic products which I am fine with, but now it has backfired and she turns her nose up at veggies and fruit which aren't organic.  now I know they taste different, but wow do I feel like we've made a rod for our back  ;D

Em,

In hindsight, i guess it is quite funny. Dd is still on her organic binge and it's costing us a small fortune to keep up with her - organic food here is VERY expensive. I've bought plain biscuits and organic biscuits - she will only eat the organic ones, same with her pureed food (still organic only). She still wont eat any meat, except a tiny bit of chicken (not organic  ;D) and she's decided she loves pasta (as long as it's organic of course - won't eat any other pasta!). I'm hoping this is a phase or else i'll have to get a higher paying job!!!  :D

Very strange lo's that we have.  ::)
