help please question about soilds

Hi I'm having a problem with soilds at the moment, my dd is 6 months old and is eating 3 meals aday.

The question is I'm not sure if im over feeding her ie today she had her milk about 6.5oz milk then about 8.30 2 tlbs of cereal then about 10.45 6 oz of milk and around 12.45 she had a whole jar of food ( im doing my own but freezing them in the jars) and at 4.00pm she drank about 4.5 oz of milk.

How much soild food should I be giving her?

Never had this problem with my son as he was a little pigglet .

i think 6 months is still a tad early for three meals a day.  formula is still the most important thing she should be eating...i would back away a bit, just so you can get all those ozs in.

my dd is slightly younger and all i do is brekkie....she is still consuming 36 oz a day though....

just my opinion...hope it helps!

Is she not having a night time bottle? I think you may want to drop the solid intake a little and try and get some more milk into her as this is their most important intake at this age.

Samijoe she was put on soilds cause of her reflux but im going to reduce the amount she has.

Natasha  I was giving her a df but she was not eating her breakfast but if i reduce the amount of food she has that might change. Was a bit confused because it said in the book carry on df until soilds is ebstablesed (sp).
