Next Generation of BF Moms
« on: January 30, 2006, 19:06:51 pm »
Many times while carrying for DS my 3.5 yo DD will imitate me with her doll. Y'day her baby was hungry...so she fed him the only way she knows. She sat in my nursing chair, bobby in lap, and pulled up her shirt and put baby doll to breast! Hopefully she will still feel that way in 25-30 years when she has her our children. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Very sweet!

Fraser (nearly 2) does the same with his stuffed animals. He has even tried to feed Arwen a couple of times  :)

how sweet!!

the oposite: my sister was staying at some friends whose little boy wanted to know where the bottle as and was very confused when she said her ds was feeding from her breast and not a bottle at all, i found that quite sad but this little story is so sweet, it must be so lovely to see your children learning how to parent already and the ways in which they are learning!!

My dd1 does this too!  I will try and attach a pic taken in December of her bf'ing her doll...

OK, I couldn't manage to attach it... not sure why, never mind!

Too cute!  My stepmom gave dd a toy bottle and somehow she knew what to do with it and fed her doll with it today (she's never taken a bottle), and I found myself encouraging her to nurse instead!
