Title: Should I add more activities?
Post by: TJ & Stephy's Mommy on March 28, 2007, 03:49:58 am

My DS will be starting a Mother's Morning Out program in September.  DS will be there for 2 mornings a week for 3 hours each day.  I'm considering putting him in a music class or a play gym for an hour on other days that he doesn't go to the Mother's Morning Out.  Would this be too much for a 19 month to handle?  Or would the Mother's Morning Out program be enough activity for the week?

I personally think it is enough, he is still quite small then. And you could look how is he doing with this before you start adding activities. And being with his mommy is already pretty big deal :)

If you want to add something else in, I would add in something that you do with him...music classes usually are...I know the ones that I did with my dd were.  I would probably also wait to see how he does with the MMO 2x a week before adding in anything else as well, in case he needs some time to adjust to doing things outside the house.
