Post by: VitaminW on December 10, 2015, 12:23:54 pm
Hi all,
My daughter is 3months i still have her on Avent nipple size 0+ i want to put her on 1+ or 3+ do you think 3 is to much for her because she was weeks old she will choke on her milk with the 1+

Thank you.

If you have bought the 1+ you could try those for a couple of weeks and then move to the 3+ but there probably isn't much difference so if you haven't got them yet I would just go for the 3+.

It may take a few feeds to adjust to the faster flow so I would also keep her a little more upright when you feed at her at first and I'm sure she will be fine.

It's trial and error. I used MAM teats, but my boy was about 3/4 months before managing the second size, and 8 months when he went onto the third size. He was always really hard to move up.
