Time to start
« on: September 15, 2006, 23:22:09 pm »
My LO is just about 6 mo old and we are planning on starting solids very soon. Our dilemma is that my husband and I both work but want to be the ones who initially feed him everyday.  We plan to start on a weekend, so we have the first 2 days and we know it is best to feed in the morning, but we are wondering if there is flexibility in this. Would it be bad to introduce new foods in the am on the weekend and then feed him those foods in the evening during the week? I want to do whatever is best for him, but I also want to be a part of this process as I feel like I already have to give so much up for work.

Thank you for your advise.

Sounds like a great idea. I totally understand starting solids is a great experience for all and you want to enjoy it yourself ;)

I agree if you try it the first few times in the morning on the weekend then doing it in the evening during the week should be fine ;D.
