1-0 or something else?
« on: January 01, 2015, 08:07:00 am »
DD1 is 2 years and 4 months. Her routine has been

WU 6:45/7
Nap 12:30-2:30
BT 7/7:30 (usually 7)

The last week she has been doing

WU 6
Nap 12:30 - 13:30/14:00
BT 7

I have not been capping the nap she has just been waking earlier and BT is all full of antics but she still falls asleep quickly. I would very much like WU back to 6/7 as DD2 is usually awake for a feed a 5.

Should I be pushing the nap later / capping / both?

I would for sure try pushing it out and capping it. She is a bit on the young side for 1-0 but then my DD1 did it at 2.5 so possible she is naturally heading that way on her own.

I would push it out too.  After I pushed out nap out to 1pm BT was closer to 8pm...but for me I would rather have a nap and a later bedtime than no nap/short nap and early bed time.  Probably depends on what works best for your family right now.  We just hit the 1-0 and my DS is 1yr 8 months
