Dd won't chew her food

Does anyone have any tips on how to teach lo's to chew their food.  She has always swallowed things whole.  I make sure they are no larger than her pinky finger but she is now almost 11 months old and I would have thought she would chew by now.  I try to sit in front of her and say Charlie, like Mommy, chew (exagerated chewing), chew, chew, chew.

Any tips?  Will she eventually get it?

You know what.. my William is exactly the same.. and I do exactly the same... and yes he is getting it!!

I read something really interesting the other day about LOs being able to handle purees as they just swallow.. they can handle solid lumps of food like finger food as they know they have to chew... but they can't handle lumps in sauce as it confuses their senses as to what to do... swallow or chew... it takes a while for them to realise that they need to have a chew then swallow...

Keep persevering and your LO will get the hang of it!
