scrambled eggs?
« on: April 11, 2006, 12:30:07 pm »
My daycare lady wants to know if she can feed my 10 month old lo scrambled eggs--and I honestly don't know the answer. Also any other ideas of "real" food that babies can be eating?

Thanks!

Scrambled eggs with just egg yolk.  Can't do whole egg scrambled eggs until age 1.  I used egg yolk to do
'eggy bread' / french toast.

I gave my DD scrambled egg with the yolk the other day for the first time. My Child Health Nurse saif if she is ok with the yolk then i can try the whole egg as long as it is cooked well.

my health visitor says you can use the whole egg as long as it is cooked thoroughly as scrambled, or eggy bread or omlette.  However now reading your posts I am worried - I wonder what is right?  ???

On reading Annabel Karmels book from 6 months old, they can have well cooked scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs and omlettes with the whole egg, as long as you WELL cook them.

Been giving my little one scrambled eggs since she was 9 months old; the whole egg and not too runny. I love the fact that she loves it because i know if I am out in a restaurant and I have nothing to feed her I can always order her that
