Ella is 20 months and eats like this:

7:45/8: Breakfast (usually waffle w/ PB or oatmeal, fruit, and OJ)
11:45: Lunch (sandwich, yogurt, fruit and/or veggie, milk)
3/3:30: offer snack, sometimes eats it sometimes not
6:00: Dinner (eats whatever we are and has milk to drink)

Like Stacy, the only meal I really cook is dinner. Breakfast and Lunch are quick and whatever we have around. If your LO is not talking yet, why not teach the sign for "eat". She used this before she was really talking and still does. She now says "food" also, the girl likes to eat!  ;)

I think that is one of the oldest and longest lifetime complaints of a mother!  I still hear my Mum on the holidays say at about 8pm: "OK KITCHEN IS NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSED!"  My sister, Dad and I still roll our eyes like we did back then! LOL!

Same we here, my mum always says that! What a surrise Leorah also likes her dinner at 5pm (she has a lot in common with Nello) sharp but the rest of the day she will just graze.

DD is also 15 months and eats pretty regularly - 3 meals and 2 snacks, plus 2 bf (on waking and after lunch/before nap) and bedtime bottle.

Something like this:
6:30 bf
8am breakfast
10:30 snack
12 lunch
12:30-12:45 bf (we're so bad, I bf her to sleep for naptime, bad BW!)
3pm snack
5:30-6pm supper
7pm bottle

Some days she eats big meals and small snacks, some days the other way around, some days she hardly seems to eat anything at all.  I just offer and see how she does with it, some days I eat a lot of leftovers or throw a lot of food away!

She will go a lot longer without eating, especially when there's excitement, but if I lose track of time she either gets cranky around 2.5-3h between feedings or wakes in the night hungry.  One of the problems is, if she's already gotten cranky she will say she does not want to eat and pitch a fit when I try to put her in the high chair, but once we get started she gobbles and settles right down.  I don't wait for her to tell me she's hungry or anything, I try to stick to routine, but sometimes we do lose track of time.

We often do snacks "on the road", just throw some cheese and dried fruit in a baggie and take it in the stroller, she helps herself.

Hi girls!

We have a regular meal/snack times everyday cos I need to know where I am and especially as DH is in charge after 3pm!
DS eats a lot but that's probably cos we get a lot of exercise!
I've also found that fruit is the best snack for DS as it doesn't take the edge of his appetite for his main meals. He has a BIG plate of different types of fruit twice a day, at 10.30 and again at 4.00.
Our day is something like this -

8.00 Breakfast and a cup of milk (a casual affair - he chooses and will often come and go)
10.30 Fruit
12.30 Main meal of the day & pudding
4.00   Fruit
6.30   Supper & pudding
8.00   Milk

well we are quite on a routien for the meals and snacks as well.

Milk on waking (5:30-6:30)
7:30 bfast
9:30 yogurt snack (2 tiny cups)
11:30 lunch + fruit(fruits skippe dif DS is very sleepy)
or shift to as soon as DS wakes up, things still a bit flexible with the 2-1 nap and varies with the wake-up time
2:30 milk
5:15/30 dinner +fruit
7:00 milk
cheerios and cheese
brush and Sleep :D
9 and 6, oh boy!
