I've been weaning since about 5 months now. Started on carrot (refused), pumpkin (refused), sweet potato (ok), parsnips (not bad), baby rice (ok), fruit (YES). I had tried all the Annabel Karmel recipies where i only really had success when i put some apple in instead of another ingredient.
Then i made the mistake of buying stage 1 Ellas kitchen. Oh she loves this fruit mush. She will now not touch stage 2.
She takes bits of toast, strawberries, chews on carrots, eats musli in her pear puree so i'm sure it's not to do with the texture..
I'm not entirely sure what to do as she's refusing meal times!
Should i make some veg purees with apple and then gradually reduce the apple? I don't want her to keep this sweet tooth! Or maybe adding apple to all these pouches i bought?
I would be so grateful for some help, i'm terrified she's not getting enough nutrients!!
(she's drinking about 900-1000ml formula a day still - she's been big from birth with a huge milk appetite!)
