Hello,
My son is 6 months old, eating solids once a day and I sometimes supplement with formula at night about 4 oz a day. He wakes usually about 4 hours after he goes to bed at 6:00pm and then he is up about 2.5 hrs later for the rest of the night. Its really gruelling and I am not sure how to curb these wakings. Ideally I wouldn't mind if he woke at 10pm, and then at 6am for the day. I have tried the dreamfeeds for two weeks and have had no success. Can anyone else help me? His schedule is as follows:
6-7am wake, change diaper, breastfeed
8-9am nap for 45 mins
9-10am eat rice cereal
11:30-12:30 nap for 40 mins and then try to put him back to sleep if I succeed he will sleep 90 mins in total
2pm breastfeed
4:30 pm nap for 40 mins
5:10 bottle mix with formula
6:10 bath
6:30 breastfeed and bedtime
10:00 wakes for feeding if I don't manage to dreamfeed
and then he is up for the rest of the night every 2.5 hours
