I didn't get this message in time, so her 2nd A time was 2.25 hrs again.  She went right to sleep without any fuss!  :)  We'll see how long she sleeps for.  Because she went down for her 2nd nap at 12:15, I will still try for the catnap later to make sure she isn't OT for bedtime.  I'm hoping to get this figured out soon so we can drop the catnap.  The rest of this week is going to be thrown off for her.  We're taking a long trip on Thursday and will be out of town until Sunday.  I'm going to do my best to keep up with her routine and trying to figure out the A times while we're away.

2nd nap was only 1 hour.  :(  She took a catnap later this afternoon that was about 40 minutes.  I'm about to put her down for the night and will start over tomorrow.

I just had to report that she did it!!!!!  :)  She actually slept through the night with only one VERY brief waking at 5 am.  She woke for maybe 5 minutes and put herself right back to sleep.  She slept for 12 hours!!!!!!!!!  This is amazing for her!  I'm so proud.  :)

So, you think yesterdays 2nd A time should have been 2.5 hours?  Her naps today have only been 1 hour as well, but that could be cos she was napping in the car and our journey came to an end around that time.

Yes I would try for 2.5hrs.  I wouldn't count on today's naps since you were out and about.  My lo also wakes at the end of the journey.

I was hoping it would continue too, but last night/this morning's sleep was HORRIBLE!  She had 1 NW and several EW.  Doesn't make for a nice long trip today.

That's too bad  :(  HUGS dear.  Hope you enjoy your trip.  She might sleep in the car.  We'll get back to it when you're back.

Hugs, I agree with charm, she might catch up on a bit of sleep in the car.

She slept GREAT in the car.  Sleeping at night was another story.  :(  She woke around 10:30 and didn't go back down until after 1:00 am (bottle was used), and then woke again at 3:50 am and again at 5:10 am.  In the meantime I only got about 2 hours sleep.  I was finally able to get her down for her morning nap (3 hours later because she just wouldn't go down).  I know she isn't going to sleep for very long due to OT.  While away, how do you get your LO to stay asleep?  I'm sure part of the problem is that she is in a new place and not sleeping in her own bed.  Suggestions???  I don't know if I can do another night of only 2 hours sleep.

If it's just a short trip I would ride it out and start over when you're back at home.  Take her for a ride when it's nap time, use the stroller, whatever it takes to get her to sleep so that you can sleep too.

We're back from our trip.  I'm thinking my LO wasn't sleeping very well at my parents house b/c it was different surroundings.  She was napping OK, just not STTN.  Last night, when we got home, she slept 11 hours straight!  We both needed the sleep.  The 1st nap today was only 50 minutes, and that was after 2.5 hrs of A time.  You don't think I should extend it more, do you?

Welcome home  ;D

Give it 2 more days maybe, so she can adjust to being back home.  But if you keep getting the 50min nap I would definitely increase a time by 15mins.
