GRRR
« on: May 08, 2006, 20:12:47 pm »
OK thins is just a rant I need to get it out.
This has been a looooooong day. My DD has desided that she's much rather paly then nap  :-\ She woke at 6 today and was so tired that I just put her strait to bed, then I slept in by accident :( I ment to be up by 7:30 and have her up no later then 8, but she woke me up at 9:30  :o yikes. So my routine is already off by 2 hours today, I figure, no problem I'll just go with the flow. So I fed her and we took a run to the gym, which is about a 45 min walk there and back, and got home intime to get her down for her am nap at 10:30, she seemed really tired and on the verg of overtired so I didn't push it. She did fine with that, slept for a good 1.5 hours, so I fed her lunch at 12 and things seemed to actually be back on track. but no, she had to throw a curb ball  ::) I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get her to take her nap (due at 2) She kept rolling over, she was crying, she was fussing, I did PU/PD when she cries, layed her back down when she rolled over (she isn't able to fall asleep on her belly yet, I've been in and out of that room so much I think I got my work out for the day  :D Finally she fell asleep, just before I started typing this. So I'm not sure what the rest of my day will look like, but now I feel less frustrated, it feels good to get this out.
Thanks for listening

See even those of us who thought we knew what we were doing, find days when we really don't.

I love my spirited DD, but sometimes she really gives me a workout  ;D

Sorry about the rough day! Sounds like not even a spirited issue though - more an issue with her packing in all her sleep overnight, early morning and then with nap 1. Hang in there - hopefully tomorrow will go more smoothly!

We're having a rough day here as well! DD took a one hour nap this morning and two 35 minute naps this afternoon, I feel like I've done nothing but pu/pd today! Tears all day long. Haven't had a day like this in a while! Our los will have time to reflect on the days they gave us while they sleep and dream tonight, maybe they'll feel bad for us and surprise us with bliss tomorrow ;).

LOL that would be nice. I went to the gym tonight to unwind, my DP took care of DD's bedtime routine. She went to sleep at about 8:30. It was 9 yesterday. I think tomorrow I'm going to have to redo her routine with a later bedtime. I think it may be time :)
