going from 2 to 3 solids?
« on: August 28, 2006, 16:21:11 pm »
My LO is 23 wks.  Shes been on solids (puree veg, fruit & baby rice) for about a month.  Her routine is as follows

7am         7ozs formula
11am       7ozs formula + puree veg + baby rice
3pm         7ozs formula
530pm      4ozs water + puree fruit/veg
7pm         7ozs formula

I am hoping to introduce breakfast this week, maybe some baby porridge.  Just wondering if I should introduce this solid feed around 8/830am.  Am a first time mom and pretty clueless.  Have following bw feeding routine since lo was 3mths and find it brill so any advice would be much appreciated!! :)

You could try it around 7:30 / 8:00.

We personally have always given breakfast straight after the bottle.  It all depends on your lo.  You can try straight after, or you can wait an hour.  See what suits your lo.
