Has anyone served pureed plums or grapes to their LOs? Do you cook the plums/grapes with the skin on and then puree it? Or would you peel the skins off and then cook it?

Hi there
I have done plums- I put them in boiling water for about a minute then straight into icy cold water for a minute, then the skins come off really easy. Then I just took the stones out & pureed them. A word of caution- plums on their own are
really
tart- I mixed some baby rice and formula and then mixed in the plums to make them creamy and take the sharpness away- this went down a treat! yumyum

Hi, make sure you use really ripe plums as they can be bitter, you could use some apple juice to stew them in or i used to use a few apricots in there as well, or a few prunes, both dried. ds used to love stewed fruit!
