Hi everyone

If I bake veggies/fruits,then cut them in smaller pieces, are they still good to freeze?

Yes they are, I did this with squash, carrots, and some others that I can't think of right now.  I would put the cut up pieces in individual serving size baggies, then put 10 or so of these into a big freezer bag.  Can thaw in fridge or dip in cool water for a bit.  It's been a while since I did this, DS is nearly 4, but I made all of his food with guidance from the book Super Baby food.

I freeze cut-up fruits and veggies.  I figure it's the same as freezing the purees.  I haven't had a problem with anything so far!  Especially works great for fruit, so that it doesn't go bad if it doesn't get eaten in time.

Sure, I freeze everything!  A little trick to keep them from getting all clumped up in the bag - freeze them on a baking sheet first then transfer them to freezer bags so you don't get one big clump.  :)

Oh yeah, OR if you do diced finger foods (small pieces) you can freeze them in your icecube trays then pop them out as single servings.  :)

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I think this applies...How do you cook finger foods enough so they can be mushed in the mouth, but firm enough to be picked up?

I would just keep checking while it's cooking.  Take out a piece and pinch it or spear it with a fork.  Once I found out how long something took, I just kept to that amount of time when making big batches to freeze.
