My first son, now 5 years old, was relatively easy to train, he was on a set pattern and slept through the night very early. He takes naps daily after school and I'm very happy with his progress.
However, my second son, now 10 months old, is completely different. He use to wake up for frequent feedings throughout the night 4 to 5 times. We decided to take away the feedings and eliminate his reason for waking up, and that worked somewhat, he no longer gets the bottle at night and he doesn't even put up a fight for it. However, he still wakes up at night around the same time, looks around, gets a quick hug from mom or dad and goes back to sleep.
How do I get him to sleep through the night and not wake up in the middle of the night for a hug?
